This one side is 100% done, on the roof front.
We were relaxing on our new porch and I snapped a shot of the view from the porch. We love it!
Nothing was insulated, so I insulated the spaces in between the rafters. This space was open to the cold outside air, and it is the attic around the rooms upstairs, I bet they were ALWAYS cold. This should help a bit.
The sun is down in the picture, we are trying to figure out a color scheme for the wood stain. Any Ideas???

Wel,l then....I love the new roof. Those are great shakes/shingles! And the view from the porch is gorgeous. I can't help with colour. It takes me years to decide what to paint the bathroom. I don't know how you do it but it is all looking so great.
